Boxing

Monday, Wednesday (6:30 PM)

This is not a fitness based workout; this is real boxing taught by an experienced fighter. Students learn punching combinations, offensive and defensive maneuvers and ring strategies. The program includes skipping rope, calisthenics, shadow boxing, bag work, focus mitt drills and sparring.  Although sparring is encouraged, it‘s optional.

Law Enforcement Tactics

The emphasis is on realistic scenarios and training drills. The student will learn to defend against front and rear attacks, learn how to disarm specific weapon threats and various ground defenses. In addition, students develop focus and awareness and learn to be assertive and not aggressive through body language.

This class covers the basic elements of Muay Thai (an ancient martial art and the national sport of Thailand) in a safe and controlled environment. The student will learn to punch, elbow, knee and kick. Training includes skipping rope, calisthenics, shadow boxing, technique, Thai pad work and/or heavy bag work, clinching and kneeing and abdominal exercises.

Uniform Requirement: Muay Thai Shorts, Official Training Shirt or Tank Top / Equipment: Hand Wraps, Bag or Boxing Gloves

Only experienced students of Muay Thai are accepted in Level II. The training includes advanced techniques, sparring and ring tactics.
